Transportation Services

Transportation used during our tours may include private vehicles, trains, ferries, commercial airlines, taxis, or other licensed transportation providers.

These services are supplied by independent companies operating under their own licenses, insurance policies, and legal responsibilities.

Although every effort is made to work only with reputable transportation providers, Iberian Experience Travels, S.L. cannot be held responsible for delays, schedule changes, cancellations, mechanical failures, baggage handling, overbooking, labor disputes, weather conditions, or other operational decisions made by those providers.

Likewise, we cannot reimburse expenses resulting from missed connections, independently purchased transportation, or non-refundable airline tickets affected by schedule changes beyond our reasonable control.

For this reason, purchasing comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended.

Accommodation Services

Hotels and other accommodations included in our itineraries are independently owned and operated.

Every property is carefully selected based on location, quality, comfort, and the overall experience it provides to our travelers.

However, Iberian Experience Travels, S.L. cannot accept responsibility for circumstances arising directly from the operation, maintenance, staffing, or management of accommodations provided by independent establishments.

Should an unexpected issue arise, every reasonable effort will be made to work with the property to find a satisfactory solution whenever possible.

Independent Suppliers

Many of the experiences that make each journey memorable are provided by carefully selected local partners.

These may include museums, restaurants, wineries, transportation companies, local guides, cultural venues, artisans, and other independent businesses.

While I personally choose these partners based on their professionalism and the quality of the experiences they provide, they remain independent service providers responsible for their own operations.

Accordingly, Iberian Experience Travels, S.L. cannot accept responsibility for acts, omissions, delays, service interruptions, negligence, or circumstances attributable solely to independent suppliers.

Whenever difficulties arise, however, I will always do everything reasonably possible to assist travelers and help find practical solutions.

Although no company can eliminate every risk associated with travel, one thing will never change.

From the moment you reserve your place until the day you return home, I’ll do everything reasonably possible to help your journey run smoothly, resolve problems when they arise, and make sure your experience is one you’ll remember for all the right reasons.

Indemnification

Travelers agree to be responsible for any loss, damage, expense, or liability arising directly from their own unlawful acts, negligence, or intentional misconduct during the tour.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, travelers agree to indemnify and hold harmless Iberian Experience Travels, S.L., operating under the registered trademark Traveling with Jorge®, from claims, damages, costs, or legal expenses resulting directly from their own actions or omissions while participating in the tour.

Nothing in this provision limits any rights or protections granted to travelers under applicable consumer protection legislation.

Corrections & Inadvertent Errors

Although every effort is made to ensure that all information published on this website is accurate and up to date, occasional typographical errors, pricing inaccuracies, or administrative mistakes may occur.

Iberian Experience Travels, S.L. reserves the right to correct such errors at any time, including after publication.

Should a correction materially affect an existing reservation, the traveler will be informed as soon as reasonably possible and offered the appropriate options in accordance with applicable law.

Participation in Our Tours

My goal is simple: To create an enjoyable, respectful, and welcoming atmosphere for every traveler.

Most journeys are filled with laughter, curiosity, and wonderful conversations. Occasionally, however, a situation may arise where a participant’s conduct seriously affects the safety, wellbeing, comfort, or enjoyment of the rest of the group.

In such circumstances, and only after considering the situation carefully, I reserve the right to refuse participation, decline a booking, or require a traveler to leave the tour if their behavior places themselves or others at risk or significantly disrupts the experience of the group.

Whenever possible, concerns will be discussed respectfully before any decision is made.

Should removal from the tour become necessary due to a traveler’s conduct, any resulting transportation, accommodation, or other associated costs shall be the responsibility of that traveler.

Privacy & Personal Information

Your privacy is important.

To organize your journey safely and efficiently, Iberian Experience Travels, S.L. collects and processes certain personal information necessary for the operation of your tour.

This information may include:

• Emergency contact information
• Passport or identification details where required
• Payment information
• Dietary preferences
• Accessibility requirements
• Relevant health information voluntarily provided by the traveler

Personal information is processed only for legitimate operational purposes and in accordance with applicable privacy legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable data protection laws.

To provide the services included in your tour, certain information may be shared with trusted third-party suppliers, when necessary, such as hotels, transportation providers, local guides, insurance companies (where applicable), or governmental authorities when legally required.

Whenever possible, only the minimum amount of information necessary to provide the requested service will be shared.

Because our tours operate internationally, your information may occasionally be transferred to countries outside the European Economic Area where different privacy regulations may apply. In such cases, reasonable measures will be taken to protect your information in accordance with applicable legal requirements.

Personal information is never sold to third parties for marketing purposes.

Emergency Situations

Should an emergency arise during the tour involving your health, safety, or wellbeing, I may share relevant personal information with medical professionals, emergency responders, insurance providers, or public authorities whenever reasonably necessary to help protect your interests or those of the group.

This information will be disclosed only to the extent reasonably necessary for managing the emergency.
