On our websites, there are specific sections where you can enter your details to receive information about updates to our website and some of the programmes we offer. We assure you that the information you provide will be treated in complete confidence.

PASSPORT DATA AND IDENTITY DOCUMENTS
When you book a tour, we ask for the passport number and a copy of the passport of each person included in the booking; both are required to complete the booking.
Purpose. We use this information exclusively to manage your booking and to make the arrangements the trip requires: registering travellers with the hotels and accommodation providers, contracting transport and other services on your behalf, verifying that the details of each traveller match their travel document, and complying with the traveller registration duties imposed on travel agencies and accommodation providers under Spanish law (Royal Decree 933/2021). We never use passport data for marketing purposes, and no automated decision-making is carried out with it.
Legal basis. Performance of the contract you enter into with us (Article 6.1.b GDPR) and compliance with our legal obligations (Article 6.1.c GDPR).
Recipients. Passport details are shared only with the suppliers strictly involved in your trip (hotels, transport and local service providers) and, where legally required, with the competent public authorities. We do not transfer this data to any other third party.
Retention. Copies of passports are automatically and permanently deleted from our systems 30 days after the tour ends. The passport number is kept as part of the booking and invoicing records for as long as required by tax and commercial legislation, and is then deleted.
Security. Passport images are stored on our server in an area that is not publicly accessible: the files are saved outside the website’s media library, under randomly generated names, in a folder that cannot be reached from the internet, and they can only be viewed by authorised staff who are logged into our management system. They are never published, indexed or attached to any public page.
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability at any time as described in the RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS section of this policy. If you prefer not to upload your passport through the website, please contact us at info@travelingwithjorge.com and we will arrange an alternative means of sending it.
LEGAL BASIS FOR DATA PROCESSING
We use your data because you give us your consent to use the information you provide in the forms for the specific purpose indicated in each one. Your data is only required for the specific purposes for which it is requested; if you do not provide it, those services cannot be provided.
DATA TRANSFERS AND DISCLOSURES
We are firmly committed to ensuring that the data you provide to Traveling with Jorge® will not be sold or transferred to third parties without the prior consent of the data subject under any circumstances, except where express consent is given or there is a legal obligation to do so.
